Xiaoyu Endures Vacuum Bag with Balloons

Without a doubt, the vacuum bag is one of the favorite props for breathplay enthusiasts. However, the problem with vacuum bags is that the intense sensation doesn’t last long—just a few minutes at most—before you have to be let out or you lose consciousness. So, how can you extend the play time? Leaving some air in while pumping is an option, but this can lead to a less intense feeling and compression in the beginning. Ideally, you want to be able to add a small amount of fresh air to “revive” the person inside when they’re about to reach their limit, then pump out the excess air a moment later to restore the vacuum compression.

While supplementing air can be done by opening a small gap in the seal, it’s difficult to control the amount. Furthermore, we wanted to create an environment that remains sealed from beginning to end—even if there’s air flow, it’s one-way, only out, never in. This ultimately led to the idea of using balloons as a backup air source inside the vacuum bag. An added benefit is that the person inside also has to overcome the psychological fear of a balloon bursting, which definitely adds a bit of flair to the game.

If you remember our post on X, a few months ago I had the chance to try this idea with my friend Fallen leaves (X: @loadedgunleaves), and the result was stunning. Fallen leaves, who isn't very experienced with breathplay, played for over 8 minutes in the vacuum bag and, when asked about the fear of a balloon bursting, countered with a question of her own: “Is life more important, or is pain?” A few months later, we finally got Xiaoyu-senpai to film a full-length video, and Xiaoyu managed to last for her first time in a vacuum bag for over 11 and a half minutes…
