Xiaoyu Underwater Breathholding Training

We are on a hot spring vacation. Since we have access to a nice hot spring pool, why not practice some breathholding underwater? And so, this video was born… Please enjoy Xiaoyu’s calmness, struggles, bubbles, and contractions!

Note 1: This one-hour video consists of two approximately 30-minute segments, capturing the same session from both underwater and above-water perspectives.

Note 2: The danger of drowning is far greater than a black out from breath control on land. The human lungs are not simple bags from which water can be easily emptied; rather, they are more like sponges. Once a large amount of water is inhaled, it is difficult to expel water completely, potentially leading to alveolar damage, lung infections, and other serious complications. So please do not expect from us any real, unedited, non-acting, hardcore drowning footage. This video is simply a routine breath-holding practice conducted in a controlled environment.
